Help us help countries better understand their hepatitis disease burdens and make data-driven decisions about how to eliminate hepatitis for good.
Around 400,000 people each year die from causes related to hepatitis C, a curable disease of the liver
Around 71 million people are estimated to be infected with hepatitis C
Only around 20% of infected people are diagnosed, with 2% receiving treatment (2017)
We help eliminate suffering, adverse societal impact and mortality cause by preventable, treatable diseases by supporting high-impact decision-making through research, disease burden and economic impact modeling, developing implementable strategies, developing innovative financing, and knowledge sharing. Please help us continue our mission and vision through your generous donation.

Working with experts from over 100 different countries/territories, we have gathered and modeled the necessary data to help countries create national strategies for hepatitis elimination, thus creating the Polaris Observatory. This online database has become the authoritative resource for epidemiological data, modeling tools, training and decision analytics to support elimination of hepatitis B and C globally by 2030.
The Polaris Observatory is free of charge to national policymakers, decision makers and our collaborators. It is not-for-profit and has been funded by various organizations and individuals. Your tax-deductible donation will be used to support the Polaris Observatory. Donate today or make a pledge to support the Observatory.
