The CDA Foundation is working with Dr. Loreta Kondili and Dr. Stefano Vella of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS) of Italy to model liver disease progression among patients at risk for NAFLD/NASH, following an HCV cure. This project applies the modeling framework and disease progression rates developed by CDAF for NAFLD/NASH to the real-world cohort data obtained from the PITER cohort. ISS is the leading technical and scientific body of the Italian National Health System, under the direction of the Ministry of Health.
