Carolyn Wallace
Epidemiologist
Carolyn is a global health epidemiologist who focuses on the disease burden and economic impact of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). She evaluates cost-effective strategies to mitigate disease burden and collaborates with international public health experts to facilitate implementation. Her epidemiologic research has spanned many areas including inflammation, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, metabolic disorders, and women’s health. She also has extensive experience in pharmaceutical forecasting for new product development and lifecycle management of launched products. Carolyn holds a Master of Public Health degree in Health Management and Policy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia; she is also a licensed nurse and educator.
