Si certains pays ont r\u00e9alis\u00e9 des progr\u00e8s significatifs, notamment en mati\u00e8re de traitement du VHC et de vaccination contre le VHB, rares sont ceux qui sont en voie d&#039;atteindre les objectifs d&#039;\u00e9limination totale fix\u00e9s par l&#039;OMS. Parmi les obstacles figurent la complexit\u00e9 des protocoles de traitement du VHB, l&#039;acc\u00e8s limit\u00e9 aux tests et le sous-investissement. \u00c0 l&#039;inverse, le succ\u00e8s de l&#039;\u00e9limination du VHC repose sur un engagement politique fort, l&#039;acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des diagnostics et \u00e0 des m\u00e9dicaments abordables, ainsi que la d\u00e9centralisation des services de sant\u00e9.
