En diciembre de 2021, la Asociaci\u00f3n Europea para el Estudio del H\u00edgado (EASL)\u2013Lanceta<\/em>\u00a0La Comisi\u00f3n sobre enfermedades hep\u00e1ticas en Europa present\u00f3 su primer informe, que puso de manifiesto un alarmante aumento de la mortalidad relacionada con el h\u00edgado en muchos pa\u00edses europeos. La Comisi\u00f3n propuso una hoja de ruta para abordar las tendencias negativas documentadas.
