On the last day of the summit, the CDA Foundation presented the 2016 Global and European figures for HCV epidemiology at an exclusive session on “Evidence as a Policy Driver, Towards HepC Elimination.” The session was organized by Ricardo Baptista Leite (Member of Parliament – Portugal, and Head of Public Health at the Catolica University) and chaired by Christian Busoi (Member of the European Parliament, Friends of the Liver Group). Speakers included Sarah Blach (CDA Foundation); Tatjana Reic (ELPA); Achim Kautz (Leberhilf Projekt gUG), Raoul Blindenbacher (the Graduate Institute, Geneva), and Ricardo Baptista Leite.
